So I decided to start a compost heap, I've started collecting my fruits and vegies, now I just have to get some mulch for the compost heap and clippings from the yard, its just in a broken plastic tub at the moment, eventually I'll get a real one from bunnings, but the plastic tub is good for now. I have been googling compost heaps =) I am also looking into getting some "window pot plants", to put some herbs in =) I've never really been into gardening, but since I've been looking for cheap ways to spend time, it's a good idea!
We made a decision to not move, but to knock our house down and rebuild here, with love this location, it's in a general location, close to the school we want to send our children to, it's a great sized block with amazing land value. So the plan right now is:
First step: Knock down the old shed and smash up the concrete slab. Then get new slab laid for the 6 car garage we own. Build garage
Second step: Buy a caravan as our sleeping dwellings, and use the garage as our living quarters.
Third step: Contact the real estate from next door and get side fence taken down and put up a new colourbond fence, all the way from front to back. Build front fence..
Fourth step: Slowly knock down the house, with care, so we can sell off different parts for other peoples building projects - Get as much money from it as we possibly can
Fifth step: Build our new home!
=)
I've just filled in loan applications to repay the $40,000... And an application to have our home loan moved from Rams to Westpac - To act as security for our $40,000 loan.. So much going on!
Tomorrow I'll be paying:
* Milk
* Clinton
* Some of Athertons
* $200 on the electricity
* $100 on the Rent
I have to put $50.00 extra a week onto my engagement ring. I want to have that paid off by February. We put a $1000 deposit on it. I think we have about $1300 left to pay. I'm going to have to enquire about that and see how much is left to pay.
We are getting a $3000 refund from the ATO for BAS, so we're going to pay $2000 onto our personal loan (To bring it down to $3000) and we're going to use the further $1000 to kick start our savings again! Which would be nice to acheive! I paid up Allied today much to my dispair! And from now on we're going to pay as it comes in again.
I saw David from Kev Baldwin today and I found out pretty much EVERYTHING we buy is cheaper from them! So we are just going to buy everything from them from now on! Some things up to $10 cheaper, which doesn't sound like much, but $10 cheaper over 52 weeks a year, saving it every week ends up being a $520 saving! Which is amazing, and that's just ONE thing!
