1. Lose my last 10kg. This is pretty self explanatory. My aim at the moment is to fit into my "Reception dress". I purchased two wedding dresses. One for my ceremony and one for my reception. I have to have my ceremony dress taken in, I brought it too small for me, but now its too big! Gahh! Frustrating! But my reception dress is a size 10 - From "Forever New" (The shop in Australia that re-labels "Lipsy London" clothing). The sizes seem to run a size smaller. Hopefully it fits soon.
2. Pay off my our personal loan by March. I am unsure at the moment what our loan balance looks like, Clint is finding out when the banks re-open. Around $5000 I am estimating. Clint is going to enquire about whether or not there's a bpay code to pay directly to our loan account, or if he will have to physically go into the bank to put more money on it. But that's the goal, by March.
3. Get rid of everything we do not need. Either by the way of donating, selling, or just plain old throwing the stuff out! I want to have the house to be on a real minimalist level. If it's not:
USEFUL
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL or
SERIOUSLY SENTIMENTAL
Then it MUST go from our house. I already have a list forming in my mind about what can/can't go.
4. Always pay our bills and credit card on time. STOP paying stuff on the credit card unless it's absolutely necessary (i.e on ebay) - and when we do pay on the credit card, make sure we save the money to pay for it BEFORE we do!
5. Pay off an extra $50-$100 off our house loan each fortnight. Which is an extra $2400 a year! That would help a lot, Rams sent a statement to us, which had a biller code on it, so we can pay direct from our bank account, onto our loan, so that's great!!
6. Pay back our $40,000 car loan. Which I need to start the process this week, I need to scan all the previous owners paperwork into my computer and email it off to the business banker at Westpac. This one is a TOP PRIORITY!!!!
7. Stop being so wasteful. Take them time to portion size meats when I buy them - separating them accordingly. I find that due to a mixture of being at work and sheer laziness in the home, that sometimes I buy sandwich meats and I literally throw out THE WHOLE THING! Which is about $7.00 at a time, cos I buy the premium boneless leg ham! What a waste!!! Or I make wayyy too much spaghetti, instead of freezing it, I put it in the fridge and end up throwing it out! I need to purchase some containers - and organise my fridge and freezer spaces. I should have AMPLE freezer space, seeing as I have the freezer at the top of my fridge, an upright freezer AND a chest freezer!!! But definitely need to start realising that I don't need to cook enough to feed an army each night! Our food would last so much longer too!
8. Save money for our wedding honeymoon. I don't have a "target", but the better I save and the less shit I buy, the more we can spend on our amazing day and the more fun we can have on our honeymoon!!!
